The arrival of summer in the northern regions of Aotearoa is signaled by the appearance of the fiery red blooms on the native pōhutukawa trees. This tree is regarded as a rākau rangitira (chiefly tree) by Māori. The artwork is by Auckland artist Holly Roach and is digitally printed onto these napkins. The fabric is a slubbed cotton with a textured finish.
